“Like totally for sure, I think I need a manicure. The sun, I swear, it’s bleaching out my gorgeous hair. 23 -24 does anyone know the score? Win! Win! Fight! Fight! Gee I hope I look alright…..GOOOOO TEAM!”
Oh, the good old days of being a cheerleader or, uhm, I mean yesterday. Yes, I was a cheerleader through and through when I was a teenager. I loved proudly cheering my team on and jumping in the frigid cold in a small skirt. It was daring and freezing back then! Many competitions, laughter and fun. It was what helped keep me out of trouble. Just kidding. Trouble and I went hand and hand.
Last night I took the kids to a park and told them that I “used to be a professional cheerleader.” Not really but it was nice to say. I did two cart wheels followed by a round up. Yup…gooooo Mama!
This lead me to a sprained wrist….
Yes, that head slap was for me…sigh. Apparently, I’m not 15 anymore but this Mama can still do a pretty sharp cart wheel 😉
And … I can also make a delicious, easy meal. This one was really good so I had to share. Who doesn’t like easy right?

Mama’s Thought on Easy Sloppy Joe Night:
It was really simple to create and down right delicious to eat. If you really need a time saver, choose a frozen bag of onions and peppers. To knock up the intensity of spice, add chili powder while cooking beef. Turkey would be a fabulous substitute for beef. Amy’s canned chili would probably be fabulous as well.
Okay, I’m going to stick to running. See you on the track!
