You know when you come across a great company with products that you just love that makes you want to SCREAM and SHOUT?! Well, I’m so happy that I’m able to do that 😉
Pantry Paratus is one of my favorite companies. Seriously.
Why does Pantry Paratus stand out? They offer a variety of specialties from canning to cheese making to baking. How about bulk spices, Palouse Brand wheat and legumes (all non-GMO and no finishing chemical preservative sprays!) or canned butter and cheese! Interested in a new kitchen gadget? They have them. I have my eyes set on a dehydrator. I want one badly so I can serve those healthy snacks! Or perhaps a sausage press, raviloli maker or even a tortilla press! Yup, I want it all. Like I said, one of my favorite companies.
Are Pantry Paratus products affordable? YES! They have something for everyone from $10 or less, on up. Be sure to visit the nifty Gift Idea section too. You can find something for the gardener, whole food enthusiast (that’s me!) to a wedding or even the him section. Doesn’t that make buying gifts so much easier, shew!
They have a fabulous blog as well. So be sure to check them out for some great articles. One of my favorite posts is called, Chaya’s Basic Pasta Recipe. HOMEMADE pasta folks and all the tools you need, right here. Love it!
So when I was asked to do a product review, I jumped, screamed and shouted. Yes! Yes! Yes!
I choose a book called, Simple Steps: Guide to Simply Canning by Sharon Peterson.
I have wanted to explore the idea of canning for a long time. Growing a vegetable garden and learning the process of canning has always been on my to-do list. I have always heard so many horror stories of canning that I haven’t “pushed” myself to make it a top priority.
Sharon Peterson, owner and writer at SimplyCanning.com, explains everything in easy to follow and understand terms. This book is an easy read, which also makes me feel less stressed out! I’m no longer concerned if I canned properly because she taught me the signs to look for or if I should use pressure canning or waterbath canning. SHE TELLS IT ALL SIMPLY. At the end of each chapter is a “test” to make sure you learned everything that was important. This is honestly one of the best written, easy to understand, books on canning. I know this year, I’m going to can my own tomatoes. I love a delicious homemade tomato sauce with fresh basil. It’s calling for me. Learn the ins and outs on canning 101.
Here’s the disclosure: Pantry Paratus provided me with my very own copy of Simple Steps: Guide to Simply Canning. All opinions are mine and solely mine.
Are you interested in learning canning too? I have good news! Pantry Paratus will provide one free copy of Simple Steps to one lucky winner! Be sure to check them out www.pantryparatus.com and enter the giveaway for your chance to win a copy of this amazingly simple canning book!
Looks like a great book

I’d love to have their basic heirloom seed kit. <3
