If you read my blog, you will know that I am extremely particular about what I use on my skin. The skin is constantly absorbing particles in the air and whatever products may be applied to it, resulting in not always so healthy skin. I always look at the ingredients in cosmetic products and make sure there’s nothing in it I don’t understand. If there is, I always look it up. Why not? Knowledge is power and key. A girl doesn’t want to walk around with clogged pores, am I right?
In conclusion, here is my review:
1. How does Black Rock Mud Company compare to other products on the market? Although there are a lot of mud facials on the market, I feel that Black Rock Mud stands out above them all. It is used for all skin types, not just one particular. This makes it easier on the consumer to shop without having to decide what type of skin they have. Mudpot is top notch in using Illite clay to draw out toxins and impurities in the skin.
2. What makes Black Rock Mud stand out above other companies? Not only has Black Rock Mud Company been featured on The Wall Street Journal, Mom’s Everyday.com, DaySpa (Editors Choice) but many many other companies. Why? Because I feel the product really does work! Black Rock Mud uses REAL mineral-rich mud found in the Black Rock Dessert. (Let’s be honest, how many companies are that pure?) They closely monitor the harvest during Spring and Fall harvests to bring us the best!
3. Are the products fairly priced? YES! For the high quality material that is provided, the price is very reasonable. The price for 4 oz is $59.00 and will last a long time.
4. Do the products do what they say? YES! I love touching my face after I have used the mask. My skin is extremely soft. I also noticed that my skin went through a deep cleaning. (To be honest, I didn’t even know I needed it! But there it was, improved beautiful skin and I can’t argue with that!)

Personal Notes:
I was tickled to find out you can plant the box (yes I said that right) and wildflowers will grow! (The seeds are embedded in the box!) The container is completely 100% recyclable and that always steals my heart. I love Eco-friendly companies! The instructions are clearly stated, the product is amazingly fabulous and I will be back for more!
I don’t know about you, but I’m a stay-at-home mom. At my house, this means very little time for spa treatments 🙁 I am very happy to have Mudpot at home so I can give myself a spa treatment any – time – I – want.
PS There was nothing better than having the mask on and my son yelling, “GREEN MONSTER! RUN! IT’S A GREEN MONSTER!” LOL. To be four with a great imagination. 😉
